Jesus

A Christmas Poem about the TRUE Meaning of the Candy Cane.

Red is for the Blood that He shed on the Cross

White For the Salvation of All who were Lost

Green is for the Pastures where one day We will feed

For He is Our Shepard, We are His Sheep.

These Three colors, symbolically intertwined shows how Jesus Walked upon this grotesque sod

And Its shape it for His stick, His Shepard’s Rod.

The Candy Cane it is now called

But it is Satan’s trick, his way of taking the Rod and making it mauled.

Don’t forget that Jesus died to save You

For You are one of His children, innumerous, not few.
