Untitled

Through love and hate and war and peace

When will this needless suffering cease?

Who will stand up for what they believe

Who will venture out and, truth, retrieve

Who will mend the bonds now broken

Who will recant the words now spoken

Who will piece together broken souls

Who will patch up such deep empty holes

Who will have the strength to stand so tall

Who will have the heart to care for all

Who will have the courage to take the extra step

Into the darkness where even shadows never crept

Who will grit his teeth and trudge on through the thorns

And take the path on which comfort rarely sojourns

Who will bring back ancient dusty hope

And through it all, the worlds eyes, will ope?
