A/N: I can't say this is one of my best, but at least rhymes. Vaguely. If you squint really hard.

Futures

In a world ten years gained, will you still remember my name?

Will the memories fade, and will we fall from grace?

Have our dreams become real, and will we still feel?

It's just another day, just another day

The sun rises, signalling a new start

mindnumbing motions bring us no sparks

Day after day, time wears on

Yet we still live, live for the sun.

Hate to see, such beauty go to waste

Please do something, please make haste

Words grow weak, lost in the sounds

Searching for lifetimes, scarce is found
