Such lovely eyes. They moved casually from side to side-- lids shutting, eyes moving and lids opening once more-- taking everything in as their owner walked. The process was quite slow; the young man's eyes seemed to be searching for something in the dark. Close, shift, open. Each time he looked for something, something…and nothing at all.

The fiery red spheres died behind one slow blink and now the man remained still, inhaling the air with a curious look upon his face. Such a familiar smell. A delicate smell. A captivating smell. "Funny," he spoke aloud in a curious tone. "The scent of a human, yet no one in sight." A small smirk played across his unusually pale face and his eyes lit up again. "This might be fun."

Of course it would be fun. It had been so long since he had a human in his possession, how lucky for him to be so close to one now. A lovely little play thing. A pet. The thought made him chuckle.

He ran his tongue across his pale lips and grinned deviously, his hands clapping together in joy. He laughed at himself, throwing his head backwards as that bitter laugh became a howl of amusement. He placed a hand upon his chest where his heart should have been as if that helped calm him down and the cry of amusement faded slowly into a wicked smile.

"Ah the scent! How lovely! Deprived of this opportunity for years and finally the tables turn." His hands clapped together again. "How excellent."

He began to walk down the seemingly deserted alley, fiery eyes looking from side to side again for the other living soul. The grin never faded.

"You can't hide forever," he said softly, his voice an odd mixture of comfort and teasing. "Do not worry, love…I won't bite."
