i have no idea why i wrote this poem. it just sort of came to me. i like it. nice rhythem, i think

He Just Looked at Me

He just looked at me
From across the room, you see
He stared into me eyes
Like he’s trying to tell no lies
He wanted me to know
That there’s something he needed to show
Bruises on his legs and arms
Hidden by his perfect charm
And he said, “I wanted you to be
The one who would comes to save me
I wanted you to know
That there’s more to me than shows
I’m not who they think I am
I’m just part of a bigger plan
Death, destruction, and hate
I fear it might be too late.”
So I smiled at him
And his smile wasn’t dim
Now he knew I was there
He knew I would care
With a hand he raised his gun
He knew he had finally won
As he lay on the floor
I just let my tears pour
He had just looked at me
From across the room, you see
When he stared in to my eyes
I should have see behind the lies
I should have known that he would do it
Now his candle’s no longer lit
Angel eyes watch me
As I cry for thee…

that was one strange poem. review!
