Needing To Get Away

Taking flight
In the mid of the night
Tis a strange sight
For all those who fight
Fight the urge to give up
And surge to make up
With all they have wronged
In the years that seem so long
So why would he leave
When he could make amends to these
Coward they say
Maybe they are right in a way
Yet, I think he just needed to get away
My disappointment has been kept at bay
