“Defeated Light enticed in Shadows eclipse , ensued abroad realms Darkness reign,

by sorrow , glory, one finale fight, tranquility may rise again,” Anonymous. .

The world was not always as it is now, destruction run rampant while the last of the light disappears in its wake. This civil war between the opposing forces of Light and Shadow is an old one, but not one predating mankind. It’s was are fault really. The balance had in all knowledge I posed never, and I say never been broken. So in those times it was not thought of as a worldly object but more of a unspoken truce. But it appeared by the mere existence of a new race, a animal at that, would the balance be proved far more fragile then anyone had ever know.

This new race of animal that in it’s grunts and howls called itself “Man and later on Humans Beings” would prove to be the breaking point of the fragile equilibrium that had existed through out the realms for eons. In our world, the world that Man had come to call the spirit world the races of light and darkness, when born took on a variety of shapes and traits of the creatures on Orrie. It was before mans arrival that the balance was keep because the creatures we spirit grew after were dim in there awareness of the world. Thus the spirits of light and shadow became such, unknowingly keeping the balance as they went about their lives. This way the balance in the spirit world funneled unto Orrie keeping the two worlds connected on an ever changing scale. The slightest change in the favor of the dark spirit would cause natural disasters on Orrie while a shift to the light could cause years of relative calm. Thus the two worlds were keep entwined on a ever swaying pendulum of good and evil.

It was within the Human heart that spell the end of the balance. Man having with in them both good and evil unbeknown to them had the power to greatly influence the so fragile balance. With this the humans spread through out Orrie and despite many humans turn towards the way of light Mankind as a whole was sinful.

As they waged their pointless wars in them grew envy, lust ,greed, hatred, malice, wrath and all other sorts of evil. And as all this happened on Orrie the powers of darkness grew feverishly. Within as little a time as one hundred thousand years the balance had broken. . .War had come to the spirit realm.

The creatures of the spirit realm for the most part could know longer be called animals. From the humans they had become intelligent with higher perception of the balance, some even taking on human like forms. no one knows for sure but it is said that the dark spirits in them having learned greed struck first. The war had also shifted the almost nonexistent balance even further. Plagues, quakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, and all forms of sickness wreaked havoc on Orrie. As a reaction the humans became desperate, violent, and heartless in their early struggles to survive, and as more humans turned to darkness, the dark spirts and their combined strength came to be known as “The Shadow”. A force so strong they could be felt in Orrie.

The war raged and the light spirit fell back, nearing a thought to be inevitable defeat that would plunge the realms into eternal, unbroken darkness. It was near the end that the dark spirits created a weapon that to this day could still be their ultimate undoing. A powerful meteorite of unmeasurable size and strength, formed and sent to destroy the light spirit last strong hold.

The weapon struck the spirit realm cloaking the world in a thick layer of shadow energy that seep into the very core of the realm. Thus changing all life spirit or other wise into twisted forms of their former selves. The light spirit who the attack had been aimed at were all but wiped out, only the oldest and most powerful surviving. Nothing left to stop them the shadow engulfed the spirit world and then turn it’s attentions to Orrie. The great rift that had existed to separated the two worlds had been cracked by the shear magnitude of the dark force meteorite.

Taking this chance the dark spirit descended on Orrie to find to their surprise that the weakened remaining light spirit had beaten them their. In a last effort to push back the shadow unto oblivion the light spirit made a deal with the human race. Those chosen humans would be endowed with a spirit or “Cherakras” as they would come to be known born of that humans own spirit energy or “Urakras” in a time of peril. Also those humans who would become spirit wielders or “Karafutas” as the world would come to know them would have triple the physical attributes of the average human so they would have the power and skill to fulfill their part of the deal.

These chosen humans would fight the shadow through out Orrie in what ever shape or form it took until they could beat it back forever. With the shadows advance the light spirits still weak vanished into hiding, but not before leaving the humans with the knowledge they would need. Thus it was in the beginning that the humans, the very animals that had not so long ago shattered the balance took up the fight to restore it. Only one in every five hundred humans were born Karafutas and to organize the fight four Temples were constructed along the south, east, north, and western continents to act as command post for the growing armies.

. . .alas, as spoken earlier, humans are a sinful race. Over the centuries the records of the pacts with the light spirit turned from fact to myth, myth to legend, until knowledge of those pacts were forgotten by all those excepted the outnumbered Karafutas and their ever valiant Cherakras. Quickly the humans returned to their ways, unknowing of the grave dangers their world faced, the battles against the Shadow became the sole responsibilities the Karafutas.

In the end let me say the light spirit knew well the ways of man and thought ahead. . .
