Slowly the lights get closer
standing behind this tree
hiding from the light
but not for too long

Do you remember me
my dear friend?
Remember all that we did?
All our smiles and our deeds?
But I cannot go on
it has to end now

Please send my message
to my love and the unborn child
Tell them I'm so sorry
but this is what I have to do
I'm missing the last piece
of that big puzzle
known as life

The lights are almost here
I step out from behind the tree
The car won't stop
It know it won't
Tell the driver
i'ts not his fault
This is what I want
I'm sorry my dear friend
But the final bit of the puzzle
I will never have
