Flying away, carried by the breeze, you love me, you love me not, they still fall.

Red Velvet Petals
-
One by one—
The red velvet petals
Slowly—
-
Falls
-
Flying away
Carried by the breeze
You love me;
You love me not;
-
They still fall
-
A childhood game
But—
It seeks to comfort me
-
This moment in time
-
Gradually drifting—
Drifting to the ground;
Do you love me?
Or do you not?
-
Say yes
-
Oh no—
The last petal falls
You love me not
-
How can this be?
-
Oh— but what's this?
One petal slowly drifts
It separates; revealing two
I smiled then—
-
You love me
