Shut up

Be quiet

Please be silent

I'll say it in any way you want

Just get that noise out of my hearing reach

Because I'm feeling slightly sick

--

I'd kill but then I'd be alone

I would become a self-made fool

And have no one to give that feeling

Of vain happiness

And miserable butterflies

No one to keep me cold in warm nights

--

The sound of the music

Just makes me restless

This feeling, so breathless

Seems to keep me forever in company

And my companions are shadows and torment

--

So you keep telling yourself

The things you think your heart wants to hear

So you fed yourself these lies

Illusions of the mind

Trying to ease a pain

That you can't write out

And the heaviness of your stomach

Is almost driving you insane

All clothes make you feel plain

All your actions seem so fake

All your efforts seem to vain

All your masks seem to break

And you are left

Bare and nude

Fallen and hopeless

A mere shadow of the lost and broken

And of all the things you wish you were
