Elegies of the damned
The bittersweet requiem
Forever gone
Beyond the veil
If black is for night
Then white belongs to death
And so there they lie
In the white shadows
Fog of continuance
The dreary life extended
Without knowing its end
Has come and gone
Floating on airy ignorance
Drifting through their paper thin existence
Carelessness that’s inconsequential
Out of Reality’s grasp
No Harm can befall

Guys, I am terribly sorry about the extended dry spell. I had writer's block like no other for a while, but when my muse stopped PMSing my internet connection crashed. It tooks months to get a new service, but by then school had started again. So I haven't had time to type all the work I did over summer...I am so violently, desperately sorry for my extended absence but moving on...

Ok so this one is partly inspired by the "Sixth Sense" partly by a coldplay song ("White Shadows") partly by Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz. And I picked up the word 'elegy' from an AFI song (last track on "Sing the Sorrow" when the people are talking).
