We used to have so much fun

You used to be my number one

But now that's all over

We have to say goodbye

I did not see

No I didn't see you standing there

with a tear in your eye

So you disappeared

into nothing

nothing in particular

It seems so strange

knowing everything's about to change

We've been together for so long

And now it's gone

But I can't bear

to see you stare

'cause I know you won't be here

staring at me like that anymore

We may see each other again

at the end

when we close our eyes for good

So for now let's just pretend

and I see you in my head

looking back at me

like I always wish you would
