IMPORTANT WARNINGS If you dislike or offended by shoujo-ai (female and female relationships) then DON'T read it. There is a lovely thing called a BACK button, got it? I don't need flames when I gave you a proper warning.
Also, I am only posting this as mature for caution, it really is not that graphic, the shoujo-ai is simply implied.
END OF WARNING
Originally posted under my blog in myspace and decided to repost it after I put it through spellcheck in MS Word. The characters belong to me.
Insanity
Cold blue eyes stared at the slender fingers of a young woman filing through papers from the top of a wooden oak desk. Malicious green eyes lifted from their focus on the paper to clash with the eyes of the teen sitting on the desk.
"You look bored," commented the woman with slightly narrowed eyes.
"Well, you were the one who asked me to come here and all you have been doing is grading papers...but it looks like you got nothing graded," she replied in a sarcastic tone as she gestured the unmarked papers.
"Don't start with me or you will regret it."
"Really? But I've already sold my soul...so what is there left to lose?" she said in a harsh voice.
"Are you trying to blame this on me? When you were the one who sought my help..."
"Haha," her laugh was bitter. "You have no idea what you are talking about." She clutched her stomach as she continued to laugh.
"So why don't you tell me?" The laughter ceased.
"You are ignorant as ever," she pointed at the woman's heart. "All of your light has faded as the shadows grow... threatening to consume them," she then points at herself. "Just like me... Yet unlike me, you fail to see the blood stained on your hands!"
"What blood!?"
"Yours and mine!" Her laughter started again and the woman noticed that it was delving onto the side of insanity. She watched as the teen jumped off her desk and opened the nearby window. Her head turned slightly and she said, "So what will you choose? Your selfish needs or --" her voice stopped talking as she sat on the ledge of the window and disappeared from the woman's sight. The woman sat there in complete paralysis.
No more words were needed. Her mind was finally clear of the fog that obscured her logic.
