Why does he hate me?

I just want a please or thank you here and there.

I’m sure he wants the same

He never seems to see

When I cry and rip out my hair

Because when he talks he can’t even use my name

I’m never told what I’ve done wrong

No one takes the time to understand

A closed bedroom door does nothing

My life is like the lyrics of a song

By some black and sadoist band

A song whose lament I will forever sing

To forget I make myself cry

I rip things and cover my wrists

And the marks you might see

He can’t say sorry and he won’t try.

He drowns in alcohol and answers with fists.

Why can’t he love me?
