I headed to Doctors office with my friends mom because my mom hates Doctor; they are in a long standing feud. We get to the hospital and she's all

"Tarquin, look!" and then I looked away and she cut me with a goddamn sword or something, and blood got on her car and I had to clean it up.

When I got inside, Nurse raised her hand in the air and swiftly motioned it towards the waiting area.

"Boy, I sure do wait a lot at Doctors," the guy next to me whispered in my ear, "Boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy. Mmm..." I picked up a book and ignored him.

"Tarquin, Doctor will see you now." I walked into Doctors office as he was fondling a needle and rapidly stabbing a part of his scarf he had stretched out.

"Isn't pain lovely today?"

"Yeah, I guess it's okay..."

"The sky is an exquisite bloody colour, like a red seething burn, so pppaaaaiiinnnfffuuulll."

"No," I corrected him, "It's grey."

"THE SKY IS RED AND PAINFUL."

He sat me down in the chair and jabbed the needle into my arm, spun around in a circle, snapped his fingers, and lowered his sunglasses to the tip of his nose.

"Fuck you Doctor."

"Fuck off Tarquin, I am painfully busy."

The blood began pumping out of my arm, for a while, then a long while.

"Isn't that a lot of vials? I think that's too many vials. Is that a bag? What are you doing with that bag? I feel tired." The last thing I remember seeing before I fell asleep was a nurse in the back corner appearing from out behind the door. Her mouth was shut, but a hum broke through anyways.

When I came to, I was in a large building, so grey and cold, dusty and awkward.

"Shit, where am I?" I planted my hands on the floor, and they quickly slipped through the thick layer of dust. I fell back and the air became full with bullshit.

"I fucking hate Doctor. He is a goddamned motherfucker."

It was the middle of the night.
