I stick my feet in the wading water
Cold to the touch
A hiemal feeling that he left with me
I float to the top, weightless

I skim the bottom
While a siren sings
Of the end of the beginning
And of a beautiful boy

I return from the ashes
Of a burning misunderstanding
He's the best thing
The sea has to offer

A shapeless spirit
Gives me something I can believe in
He could part the sea
But he couldn't move me

The Nix awaits
With a song of salvation
He keeps me safe from harm
But the sea keeps calling...

Dip my toes in
And pull them back
I do this with my own free will...
But the sea keeps calling...
