Shattered

Can you hear me screaming

Out your name

Calling for you to wait

Please don’t leave me here

Because you are so dear to me

I’m afraid and can’t sleep

I am like broken glass

Shattering as I crash

Onto the ground

And the pieces of me

Go everywhere

And I cut the ones

That mean the most to me

And I can’t even heal the cuts I have caused

When all they were trying to do

Was put me back together

But I don’t feel like being reused

So let me lye here

In this pile of fragile glass

These shards of my pain

Sorrow and remorse

That cut so deep

It won’t even bleed
