Teach Me

Can I come and see you after class?

We’ll have to take things slow, if that’s all right

Sometimes I don’t learn things very fast

If you have to, keep me here all night

But we have an hour till the bell

So try your best- you don’t have to be kind

Be harsh, be rough, I promise I won’t tell

Can I stay a bit longer, do you mind?

First, you’ll teach me everything you know

Then I’ll show you a few things of my own

That bell just went- I probably should go

At least you didn’t eat your lunch alone

I think we have a bit more work to do
