Crimson Rain

I wonder

Do you think of me at all

At night can you sleep?

Because I think of you

Constantly.

And no one notices

Blinded by this

Shield of normality

But the inside

Is as black and the night sky

And torn as a withered roes

Out in the storm

So I wonder

Who you are thinking about

When you write those beautiful words

They seem to belong to me

But I can’t accept them

Because I am unsure

Who the owner of your heart is

If it not me tell me

So I can walk away

Try to avoid this pain

Run free, hide from this

And the crimson rain falls down

And stains me

Stains everything

And I scream out

Cry out calling after you

Call for someone

To take me under their wings

Help free me

Make me feel alive and well

Again, like with you

And I wonder is that you

Calling my name

As I sleep endlessly

Out in this crimson rain?
