Today I remembered something funny
About love, of course
Something I had totally forgotten
Till this obvious moment in time
Love is not logical
Sensible
Helpful
In any way, shape or form
It is actually very irrational
Difficult
Uncooperative too
For even as my mind tells me no
My dimwitted heart screams yes
As my logical reasoning says nay
The irrational soul says aye, aye, aye
I finally understand the side
Of love that commits unwanted suicide
