I'm sitting here in the garden, under the sun so hot,
Playing that game, muttering 'He loves me, he loves me not.'
Petal by petal, tear by tear,
Only wishing you were still here.
Remembering the days you dragged me around,
Remembering as the red petals drop to the ground.
Surrounded by falling blossoms from the tree,
I only wish them you were able to see.
The last petal falls as I said 'He loves me not',
And I remembered right then it was me he'd forgot.
I remembered the moment, I remembered it was a fact.
I stood up and walked away, never once looking back.
A/N- My first attempt to make it rhyme and make sense. Hope I did well. Give me some feedback please.
