I suppose you could say that I deserve this punishment for always standing out and being a thief. But come on, as far as punishments go, this is far to extreme! I mean, you’ve just given me a sex change and shoved me into a different life!
Perhaps I should back it up a step.
I’m Yuko Koigami, or rather, I was...Now I am called: Yu Amateru. It’s a stupid name. I didn’t make it up.
I was living a perfectly great life in the Thieves Guild, when WHAM! Some idiot actually saw enough of my face to describe it to the police!
Oh, you want me to go back farther? Fine, fine, I’ll start at the beginning...

Yuko woke to the sound of a bell right next to her ear. “Hey,” She heard a familiar voice say above her. “Wake up.” She cracked a purple eye open and stared at the face above her. Her friend Aya stood above her with a hand on her hip. Aya wore a rather baggy shirt, complete with a vest and her customary bells, hanging from wherever they could. Aya sighed, brushing her short blue hair out of her eyes, making the bells on her wrist jingle. Yuko closed her eyes and shifted slightly.
“Come back tomorrow...” She muttered, falling back to sleep. And a moment later, she felt warm lips press against her own as Aya kissed her. “Oi!” Yuko’s eyes snapped open and she pushed Aya away, panting. “Don’t mix me in with your yuri ways!”
Aya laughed, “I knew that would wake you up! You are far to predictable!” She leaned back as the door opened and her girlfriend Hanako entered. Hanako had long blonde hair that stretched down to the small of her back. At the moment she was soaking wet with just a towel covering her.
Hanako blinked her pink eyes, surveying the scene in front of her. A wicked grin stretched madly across her face, “Cheating on me Koneco? Oh dear, how will I ever compete with the incredible looks of Kunoichi?!” She laughed, going over to her dresser and pulling out her clothes.
Aya smirked, “You know it!” Then she laughed, dashing to Hanako and wrapping her arms around her waist. “Is my little flower getting jealous?” Hanako blushed as Aya kissed her lightly on the cheek. “Can I pick out the clothes for you today?” She begged, widening her golden eyes in a pleading look.
“Sure, just don’t pick out something stupid again.” Hanako relented, taking a seat on her bed to watch. Yuko smirked, sliding her feet out of bed and getting to her feet. Hanako never could resist that look from Aya.
Grabbing her brush from the night stand next to her bed, Yuko ran it through her lengthy hair. Her bangs were messy, sticking out at odd angles, but the rest of her black hair was perfectly straight. The hair was sometimes a pain, but she loved it long. The sleek black blowing in the wind on the top of a building that she was stealing from was one of the best feelings ever! Her legs were perfect, and her figure was ‘divine’ as Aya said once.
“Oh yeah!” Aya said from where she was standing, holding up a strange outfit that she was going to force Hanako to wear in a few moments. “KoRo wants to see you.” Yuko sighed, picking a black shirt and pulling it over her head.
“What does he want?” She asked, pulling on her black jeans and attaching her chain belt. She saw Aya shrug from her mirror.
“No clue, most likely I’ll find out soon anyway, seeing as its probably a mission.”
Yuko stuck her tongue out at her friend and left the thieving guilds dorm room. The guild was a place for people who had no where else to go. Really, it was made up by KoRo, also known as Kazuki Haname. He had an older brother named Yuki whom was the dean of an all boys school. She ran into him a few times when he came for a visit. KoRo was around eighteen, but he was a genius, to put it simply.
He started the guild as he was sick of seeing people suffering while other people lived a high and mighty life. In fact, the guild was located in his childhood home. It was a massive castle, perfect for a group of thieves, seeing as the Haname name was very respected and there were many places for hiding.
She hurried down the marble stairs and opened the door to KoRo’s office. “Hey KoRo, you wanted to see me?” She shut the wooden door behind her and sat in one of the chairs in front of the desk. She respected him for trying to fulfill his dreams and giving her a home. Not to mention he was the best thief in the guild.
KoRo himself sat in a large chair in front of the desk, and looked oddly out of place. He wasn’t nearly as random as his brother, and instead of wearing random outfits like Yuki did, he wore a green turtle neck with gray pants. His short honey brown hair fell over his golden eyes cutely. “Good morning Yuko, how did you sleep?” His voice had a light lilt to it.
“Fine until someone decided to sent a crazy cat to bother me,” Yuko said dryly, folding her arms over her chest.
Kazuki laughed lightly, “Yes, well, there has to be an end to every dream.” He leaned forward, placing a folder in front of her on the desk. She took it and looked it over. “I didn’t call you here for no reason, I have a job for you.” He looked at her with his piercing golden eyes. “You need to steal the Revealing Stone. In myth it grants the one who looks in it a vision of the future. However, often it reveals a future that leads to death. There are many doors in the world, Yuko, you know this. The Revealing Stone only shows an unsatisfying future. We don’t want people looking in it and take that path, no matter what they see.” He sighed, leaning back. “It’s a very top level mission and I thought to give it to you. I’d take it myself, but I haven’t been feeling myself lately.”
Yuko rolled her eyes, “I’m sure. You just don’t want to get caught.” Kazuki smiled at her.
“Well no, because if any one is seen during this mission, their life will be in grave danger.”
“Why?” Yuko asked, eyes narrowing suspiciously.
“Because everyone else wants it.”
xXx
I should have declined the mission. Who cares if anyone who looks in it dies? When Kazuki got that serious, it was a ticket to something bad. But, I was stupid.
As usual.
It was a simple mistake. Something stupid. And if that hadn’t happened, then they never would have seen my face, and there never would be posters of my face all over the city. How was I to know that the security guard had a photographic memory?
xXx
Yuko timed the movements of the night patrol team down to the last second. She was going to have about thirty seconds to get the stone and get the hell out of there. The man passed by, finally. She dashed out of the shadows and silently arrived in front of the stone. Tools already in hand, she opened the wooden box that held the stone securely. Holding the fake in her hand, she switched them easily.
KoRo had no idea what he was talking about. This was easy. She smirked, wrapping the stone in white cloth. She stepped back away and was about to dash off when she triggered a well hidden trap. Five blinding flashes later, and she was staring into the eyes of a security guard.
“DAMMIT KUNOICHI!” She heard Aya screaming in her ear from the comm. Link. “Run for it! That was a goddamn camera!” The voice shocked her in to movement, and she turned tail and ran, pushing past the bulky security guard.
Her heart pounding in her throat, she shot her cable gun through the window, shattering the glass onto the Tokyo night streets. Adrenaline pounded through her veins as she swung to the ground on her rope gun.
“Where are you guys?!” She screamed into the little mike on her shirt, looking around with panicked eyes. A little car screeched around the corner and she dove inside, onto Aya’s secure lap.
Aya’s golden eyes glared down at her, “You are so stupid! Do you know what is going to happen now if anyone finds where you live?!” Gon, the driver, looked back at them through the mirror.
“You alright Kunoichi?” Yuko nodded, gulping in air. She moved to a seat next to Aya and avoided her glares.
Hanako smiled lightly at her, “Did you get the stone?” Yuko nodded. “Good, at least we got that.” Her fingers typed rapidly over the key’s of her laptop. Hanako was a technical genius, one of the reasons she was so incredibly valuable to the guild. She could hack any computer, she knew every code. “I’m sorry Kunoichi, that security system is not on their hard drive. I can’t delete it or modify it.”
Aya scowled, “Which means that we’re going to have to do something else. KoRo said that you could not be seen, and he wasn’t lying. This is far to big a problem to just let go. If someone recognized you and came looking, we’d be dead, the guild would be over.”
Yuko brushed a stressed hand through her messy bangs. “So what do you suggest?”
Gon spoke up for Aya, already knowing the answer the purple haired young woman was going to give. “You’ll need to be erased.” Yuko flinched, bringing a hand to her throat. Gon gave a deep throated laugh, “No, not like that, I mean, we have to make you into a completely different person!”
“Huh?” Yuko blinked, “What do you mean?!”
Aya smirked, “We are going to change you so much, no one will ever recognize you no matter what!”
xXx
Again.
I am an idiot.
I should know by now that whenever Aya mentions something like that I should never allow it. But that was what started it all. Okay, me tripping the alarm was, but well, you know, I blame Aya for what she did to me.
I mean did she have to go so far? I mean, she made me a guy! On top of that, every time I looked in a mirror I blushed.
Did she have to make me a hot guy?
I mean really...She KNOWS that I’m a fan of the cute boys with long hair!
She’s so cruel!
Perhaps we should get on with the story though, huh? You’re obviously tired of hearing me whine. So anyway, like I said before my new name is Yu Amateru. I’ve been officially instructed to lie low at Haname Academy, an all boys school. The fact that Yuki Haname runs it is making me very nervous. He has a...questionable state of mind. Most of his student’s look like normal boys, but I know that there are probably a lot of strange people. And most of them are probably going to be really good looking.
I can’t attract attention to myself by going all gaa gaa over a boy now. Not when I’m a boy too now! That would be a total disaster! Anyway, after an intense surgery and a LOT of physical therapy, I have a new body, and I’m going to be beginning my new life. As soon as we get to the school.
Wish me luck, I don’t know if I can survive as a boy, but I’m going to give it a shot.
Here goes...

I know, this is such a strange story, but please don’t criticize for the sake of being rude...I’m not trying to make fun of anyone! I’m just writing a story!
