Emily

She’s easy to wind up

(She must be clockwork)

She’s got the temper of a lion

(She roars a bit)

Sometimes she wakes up on the wrong side of the bed

(It must turn around)

She’s a sheep in wolfs clothing

(She likes furry things)

She’s easy to drive up the wall

(She gets the limmo back)

She’s got her head in the clouds

(She’s in an aeroplane)

She’s sometimes on another planet

(She takes the shuttle)

She’s got ants in her pants

(She kills ‘em wiv’ pesticide

Miss Musk

She’s a warm blanket,

A pecking bird.

She’s an angry cheetah,

A cute lioness.

She works as a team,

But she doesn’t always tell us.

She’s a small cat chasing

A barking dog.

These are more poems I wrote a couple of years ago.

Emily is my best friend and Miss Musk was my teacher, favourite teacher in fact!

Jo
