I’ve noticed that he always leans to the left in everything he does. I don’t know quite when I noticed, or how long he’d been doing it. I don’t even think he knew himself. It was most obvious when we were walking along side-by-side, or playing on-stage, because I always stood to his left so that his shoulder would brush mine, or he would be looking to his left or just shifting his weight in that direction.

At first I thought he was leaning towards me, but that theory was dashed when I noticed him doing it at other times, when I wasn’t near him, or on the rare occasions I stood on his right.

Subconsciously, I began to make more of an effort to stand on his left.
