You lift me up

I touch the sky

I say, “I love you.”

And you know why

And then I wish to say it more

But using words is such a chore

When I get lost in your blue eyes

Like never-ending sapphire skies

I really should just save my breath

For when it’s lodged within my chest

I'd use sign language

If that, I knew

If only I was multilingual
