And there is so much to say,
Yet it’s wrong to start a sentence with a conjunction.

I can see the world through your eyes, they told me
But I want them to hear it through my mouth.
Verbal is my goddamn thing,
While stuttering oh so eloquently over pseudo-euphonious language.

I missed a class for subjectivity
A vociferous (muted) voice.
A (wasted) mind in overdrive.

The world’s at large,
While I’m standing small.

The documented dominates.
But the unwritten is smitten with me.
No metaphors, nor pompous mellifluousness.

I speak in haikus
With no idea how to count syllables.
