Once again, set up for failure

At least two of us

Everyone can see you're going to get your heart broken

You say she's worth it

She gives you the 'highs of highs, the lows of lows'

And you're willing to take the bullet

Even if all you get is a few months, weeks, days…

But why be with the lows of lows,

Voluntarily taking a pick-axe to your heart?

Are the highs of highs worth this pain?

You don't have to martyr yourself for her

She doesn't deserve a death to her name

The same way they all say she can do better

YOU; you can do better

Somewhere, there's a someone who won't treat you like this

Who will recognize all that you offer

Instead of eating away your soul

Taking you for granted

As you drag yourself through the circles of hell

We follow in tow to pick up the pieces

You'll drown yourself in liquor as it's ending

And she will be nowhere to be found

You're forcing us, who actually care about you

To watch you destroy yourself

Selfishly saying not to worry

But we can't, and you know it

Yet you still continue

But we will be here when you fall
