Title: She Writes Love Poems
Author: convoluted cartoon
Date Written: 12/16/06

I write of boys and waterfalls
Of hearts turned grey and lights gone dark
And of worlds of marble halls
Or where love must fall in stark

I think of someone- different each year
A fingerprint like any other
Into my heart as he draws near
A love poem, yes, another

I always try to revisit some land
Of mystery and beauty and fairytale dance
Forget love-! See the stars and the sand
Yet always I think of romance

I like that world, that parallel sight
It’s different there, you see
Here I write, I’m there at night
And the boy writes the love poem to me.
