my willingly blinded heart took that oath

and all those lies that I lifted high;

played with them. In the shower, in my bed, on my floor. Even though, it knew too. Every damn bone in my body; knew the TRUTH.

So that's what kept me holding on, glancing over my shoulder, betting on a stare.

i'm done making artificial sunlight to heal the darkness in my heart

Wrapping myself in the Devil's blankets because they're more comfortable

& racing with the football toward my own goal

Stomped my foot down & twisted the other way.

it's damn fact that i'm stepping.
