Flow

So many ideas - and as yet,

None followed through to completion.

So much inspiration -

But at a loss to discover the words

To capture the thoughts.

If a single picture is worth a thousand words,

How many pictures have I written in my lifetime?

For me, the pen is an extention

Of my hand - and my thoughts

Thrive on this stoic page.

Blank and inviting -

Thoughts scramble forth -

And my hand flies as the ink

Marches across the page.

Just when I think that I've

No feelings left to express -

The ink continues its steady advance,

And I am plunged deeper into

Self-discovery.
