"Give It A Name"

we all got on our trains
we all got in our cars
continually racked our brains
while drowing in booze in bars
and soon there'd be chaos
and soon there'd be distraught
after years of bomb shell practice
we'd soon forget what we've all been taught
and that's suddenly when our president
decided to stop jacking off
come to his senses
come to his board
hacked a small cough
and prayed to his own lord

but here comes that swift airline jet
how could we not have seen the signs?
how could we be so blind
as to push terrorism away from our minds?
and they said give it a name
and they called it a terrorist attack
or september 11th
or something like that

and there stood those two buildings
along new york's sky strong build
and who would've thought a foreigners plan
would suddenly become fast fulfilled
when the unexpected weapon came through
and over 3,000 thoughts were killed
and then there we stood
in awe and disgust
finding the perfect moment into which inthrust
our patriotic minds
through the skyline of new york
through all third world countries
through all third world trials
reaching for miles
and letting down the walls of our fort

the government had big plans
and this is one they could certainly foresee
infact i'm sure they had bets on it
infact i'm sure most of us can agree
that mom's running with their children
or men wailing with human limp loads
could not surpass our immediate shock
anymore than it did when those two buildings did explode
and i felt my heart say something
i felt it take a significant step back
on this day we call september 11th
or something like that
