Rebirth
The day fades away, then turns to night
The clouds gather together in the sky
This night a man sees an unwelcome sight
But holds it in, and refuses to cry
The cold, harsh rain begins to pour down fast
His mood is a reflection of the storm
He prays to God that this feeling won’t last
And that life will simply return to form
But despair and anguish fester inside
And continue to impair his judgment
He feels like he has nowhere to confide
And wishes that his sins he could repent
Rain washes over, prickling his skin
Cleansing his soul, to give him life again
