This rain falls down again

And I sit here like always

Thinking you’ll come back

Even though I know you won’t

Is there still hope?

You were my protection

Against the storm

I let my walls fall

Because I knew

You’d protect me

But you have got up and left

So here I sit in this rain

Letting it drain my bliss

Letting it wash away everything

Not caring if anything is left

The only thing I wanted

Was you

And in the end

You know this too

And my question is

Do you care that I sit here
