To Someone Special

Because it is you who have made me
Give more than what I have gained
Aspire more than I expect
Dream more than I can imagine

It is because of you I am able
To understand things that I do not once
To strive for something harder
To aim of something higher

It is you who keeps
My blood prolong to flow
My soul inspired to breath
And my heart alive to beat

It is you who can
Give me pain yet make me strong
Points out my every wrong
Shed tears, and yet continue to love

Because there are smiles only you can cause
Sadness only you can conquer
Dreams only we can make
And this heart, which only you can break

Because of the friendship we’ve held for long
Because of the love we keep strong
Because of everything you are
Made you so special to me

This poem is dedicated to the girl I love. Once, I said to her that she is special to me, but she insists on telling her why.
