Welcome to this distance.
Say ‘hello’ to the darkness
Look deep into the eyes of nothing.
Hold hands with the end.

Six feet with nothing but dirt and dust.
The final resting place for any mortal.
Eyes and mouth wired shut.
Nails and hairs none existing.
Flesh as black and dead as the grave.

As there is nothing else to look too when death takes you
Rethinking the last steps, the last words and the last beat
Was life worth all the suffering and confusion?
Could life really be worth all of the tears shed?
Yes because we all must learn and we all must survive.

The purpose to all the pain we take is a mystery to all of us.
Why we all live can never be predicted.
So many questions and never a real answer.
Too many ‘what if’ and never a good explanation.
Love, Hate, Heaven, Hell

Never knowing what they truly are.
We all walk the same path in life just different directions.
The choices we all make suffer an impending end.
As we grow we learn life’s sick and twisted game.
We fight and survive it’s constant tricks.
Now as we stand and as we know we can all finally live.
