Immolations Of A No-Life King
Yin: I decided to go back to Yin- it fits me better. Well, I say again ahem …. This is my last shot at a vampire fic. The difference?
I actually want to make it excellent this time around, and I will.
That said, here's the story.
Chapter One
Death
Thanatophobia- something every living thing has is always denied in dialogue. The intelligent realize death is inevitable and suppress the fear, though they have it. The average human sees every danger as possibly bringing death- and watches as it takes those they love the most and counts the days- unknowingly- until it takes them.
In truth, death can only control those who sense it. The mortals who give it thought in moments of frenzy.
Death can always take the body; it cannot take the minds of the strong.
This is what makes vampires so strong, so immortal. Death takes their body, never their mind.
And, in this state of death, they seem to control death, or have some power over it. These are the most commonly seen, written, and heard of.
This, of course, is inexplicable to most of society, mortals being its full percentage. This forces vampires into shadow, having no real lives, no real voice.
But there is an era where these beings ruled. They ruled the mortal and immortal, king and queen.
Here is the story of the last "No- Life King".
