A/N: This is pretty short. I don't know what it's supposed to mean, but it poured forth into my notebook so I figured it was at least significant to some part of me, in some way.
Reinvention, a poem by Rachel Reardon, 12/19/06
All I have to do is
stare
at a blank screen
and thoughts of you
start
flooding
back to me
there’s no clear
details
just
the static and feelings
and there’s nowhere
to go
but
further into my imagination
where nothing ever ends
and
you’re always smiling
and I never make
mistakes
because
I’m not who I used to be
just some figment of a
dream
and
a new twist on an old memory.
