In time, I have come to realize the rhymes and the balances of my life
Have become solid, that it will always be the only way for me to be free
To live without the other, to be separated from what I thought right
Only to know more of this daunting image of grief and despair
Maybe, until the dawn draws forward
Only sundown will let me live another day
To strive from midnight, to place the past behind
And look anew, another bright, beautiful morning
With you standing by to hold onto me
For me to cry on the safety of your comfort and shoulder
To laugh like days were nonexistent, and time meant nothing to us
To act like, once again, a friendship that never ceased it's love or caring
Until those days, I am left with the midnight daunting
With the holding back of those tears and the fears
So when I see you shining with the brilliant sun
I will embrace you, regardless if I ever must leave you again
