Epilogue

Noa sat at the kitchen table, patiently drinking a hot cup of tea when his parents walked through the door. When they came into the kitchen and found him sitting at the table, they both stopped to greet him.

“Oh, good morning honey. How was your weekend?” his mother asked.

Noa took a sip of tea, and sat the glass down on the dish.

“Mom, Dad, we need to talk,” he said.

His mom and dad looked at one another curiously, and then back at Noa.

“Okay son. What about?” his father asked.

“Well, you see, I’ve not been very happy with the way I’ve been living my life, and quite frankly, I’m not happy with how you’ve been living yours, either. So I’ve come to a decision,” Noa explained.

His father raised an eyebrow furtively.

“Oh, and what is that?” he asked.

Noa smiled, and a shining, silver sword generated out of his right hand. His parents’ eyes almost popped out of their sockets upon seeing the sword.

“I think it’s time to remodel,” Noa said.

His parents began to scream, only to be cut deathly short…
