Does my generation and the ones that are coming,
Forget our parents' music?

The music of the sixties,
Provoked thought,
Gave you thought to the words,
But again it had fun.
The music had a beat for dancing,
One you could let loose to.

Maybe it's not forgotten,
Maybe we do remember,
We just don't think about the music.
It's time the music was brought back,
Back to all the young folk now.
