Written By: Lady Alera Van Hexis
She held her head up
Tried to breathe
She opened her mouth
But she couldn’t scream
Her fire is burning
She’s writhing in pain
As the hideous flames
Surround her and she
Opens her mouth to scream
And now a broken soul
Lies upon a pillow of wilted roses
Upon the alter your built
For yourself
Upon that floor she now lies
She can’t see through broken eyes
Angels watch her suffering
But leave her in disgrace
With scars upon her face
Her fire is burning
She’s writhing in pain
As the hideous flames
Cover her again
Choking her mind in the darkness
Praying that she wouldn’t scream
Blood flows upon her white pillows
As she forgets everything
Her lips are now cold
And her body not warm
As the hot fires cease
And the cold settles upon her
The end has come
And voices cease
The cold now takes control
As she lies upon the grave
The very one she tried to brave
The one her willing lover made
As the fires seem to cease
