On the Mountain:

On the mountain, looking down

Jesus, hold me; I don't want you

But I need you

Dawn goes and sunlight fades and

Father, I need you

I want you, Brother

I don't, in the same moment

Why am I so contrary?

Have you taught me nothing?

My secrets, how I long to keep them

Hidden and me safe

Show me the path for me, Lord

I wait upon your word,

On this mountain top
