CASANOVA

I read the book of love,
every letter of it.
Time to roll up my sleeves,
stick my hands in the mud,
and pray to pull out a diamond.
Watch out; it just might be you.

My dream is to wake up in a bed
shaped like a heart and built like a cloud
with pairs of women's legs and knickers
pouring from the sheets like water from the tap.

If I pick you from the parade
then you must be something special,
and believe me I won't let you forget it.
I'll take you up to the stars
and lay you down on the crescent moon;
where we go from there, for decency's sake,
needn't be uttered.

Stay away from me,
my diamond. Make an excuse
and take off for good.
I can't help but woo you,
use you, and lose you.

I'm a casanova, darling,
and you're the queen of my universe
and I will worship the gorgeous ground that you walk on
until the end of time.

Or till my next queen overthrows you.

I wrote the book of love,
every letter of it.
