Long summary

Cole Peretti knew Calleigh Jamison was the one the first night they met. He snagged her and they were as in love as every sappy Romeo and Juliet in the books. Every problem was worked out with a kiss, or, the infamous make-up sex. But what happens when love isn’t enough? What happens when time turns out to be the biggest enemy of their marriage. Make-up sex won’t cut it. “I’m sorry” won’t cut it. And when Cole’s new case down at the D.A.’s office adds an extra obstacle, neither knows how much longer they can be together, no matter how much they love each other. Descriptions

Cole Peretti: Tall, dark and handsome describes him. He’s full of confidence and slightly arrogant as is needed by the assistant DA, as well as sharp as a blade. His deep blue eyes are what spitted Calleigh the first time and held her attention. His brown hair fell into his eyes at curled against the nape of his neck, begging to be touched. Then, of course, was his body. Well-structured, strong, chiseled with a light dusting of freckles on the back with a jagged scar along his right shoulder blade. He has long muscular legs that fuse into a nice, rounded rear end that Calleigh loves to watch as he rose from bed. At the age of 27 he had it all, the job, the woman, the looks…except the woman he loves is now slipping away.

Calleigh Peretti: Formerly Calleigh Jamison, model for Victoria Secret, Cosmopolitan, Vogue and more. She gave it up for her career and for Cole, rarely taking gigs. Needless to say, her 5’9 is long and lithe with a flat, slightly defined stomach, long legs, gracious rear and hips and a Victoria Secret worthy bust. Her narrow shoulders extend to long arms and graceful fingers. Her dark hair and seemingly black eyes are the center of her appeal, mysterious and full of secrets. Her full lips always seem to be tipped upwards in a coy smile which her children at school love, always curious as to what surprise she has for them. Occasionally a parent will recognize her from a magazine so she always has to fight for her credibility as a teacher. Overall she’s soft spoken, but confident and extremely intelligent.
