Waiting, waiting
For the darkness closing in
For the stars
to spin
And the candleís light to waver
Waiting,
waiting
For the sleep to overtake
For the day Iíll never
wake
And the final sunset seen
Hoping, hoping
That it
all will end so soon
That the shining from the moon
Will be the
last I see
Hoping, hoping
That Iíll go with grateful
grace
And the dark that will replace
Will come so slowly
through the night
Wishing, wishing
That it didnít
have to be this way
I always have to pay
The final
price
Wishing, wishing
That death will welcome me
So I
donít have to be seen
As one weak
