Whitewash purplewash stormclouds all around

If you had sense you’d abandon ship get out

Waves come crashing through my head

Warning signs everywhere you’re better off dead

Lightning splits the world a scar a stab another promise

Breathing too loudly skating on thin ice

Crash and form- ice shards on my eyelashes

Now I’m shining like I always should have

Turning swirling city at Christmas

Laughter turns to shame and dregs are left at last

Read my fortune in these tea leaves not a penny to my name

My future is bright but when I lose I quit the game

My part-time lover my obsession my repulsion

I love you so enslave me my disease my compulsion

Nightclub lights are the new lightning

I don’t know how I feel I feel like dying
