The Flower and The Bee (May 2004)

The most beautiful thing I have seen,
Was lovely in all its entirety.
A mix of purples and a little green,
A flower filled with such integrity.

It was bright and vibrant in the sunlight,
As it swayed in the warm and gentle breezes.
It waved happily as it moved all night,
Glad to be warm before winter freezes.

Watch as the small bumble bee flies to it.
He buzzes as he works diligently.
So busy he cannot rest or sit,
As he is just a lowly worker bee.

The flower and the bee are truly friends,
Co-existing together ‘til time ends.
