I wrote this story with my son he is "illustrading" it and I will post links to his drawings.
Danny Phantom and Sponge Bob
A small boy was sitting on the beach with his mom. He had forgotten his pail and shovel at home, so he wasn’t having too much fun.
His mom kept telling him to just play with his hands.
“Look Danny, you can dig with your hands.” But Danny was being stubborn, as stubborn as he could. He had his face set in a pout and his small arms crossing over his chest.
“I want my toys!” His mother sighed, rolling her eyes.
“Well, honey, I told you to grab them. I asked you before we left if you had everything you needed and you said yes.” All she got in response was a grunt and a pout.
Not far from where they were sitting was a boy with his father. The boy had tons of toys to play in the sand with, different sizes and color pails, he had rakes and shovels, and those little figuring you filled with sand to make animal shaped sand piles.
“Bobby, why aren’t you playing?” His father asked seeing how his boy sat on the sand looking gloom.
“It’s not fun to play alone. Play with me daddy?” the boy looked up at his dad with wide eyes.
“I told you that I would bring you to the beach if you played quietly by your self while I finished reading these reports” The look on his sons face was of pure disappointment. “I’m almost done I promise and then we will go swimming, ok? The little boy nodded.
Danny was still pouting; he had now started to kick at the sand.
“Daniel!” his mom said sternly. “You stop that this minute; you are getting sand all over our towels. Now entertain yourself for a minute and quit pouting or we are going home!”
Danny’s lip trembled, his eyes went glossy, but he knew crying would get him nowhere but home. “Can we go swimming?” he said swallowing his tears
“Yes we can” Answer his mom. “But take some time to calm down.” Danny nodded while looking out into the waves.
“Okay Bobby” Bobby’s dad said “Let hit the water”
“Yay” Bobby said jumping up and down. He rand ahead of his father to the water.
“Slow down” Said Bobby’s dad and Danny’s mom at the same time. Both boys turned around at the same time to look back at their parents when bang, they crashed into each other.
Danny started to cry using his hand to rub where his fore head had collided with Bobby’s fore head.
“Awww” wailed Bobby.
“Oh, baby are you ok?” Asked Danny’s mom “I told you to slow down”
“The boys are fine” Said Bobby’s dad finally arriving to the scene. “Right boys? You both are strong”
“Yes daddy” Bobby said while Danny frantically nodded.
“Hello” Danny’s mom said to Bobby’s dad. He said hi back and then introduced the boys to each other.
They swam for some time, the boys clinging to their parents when ever a big wave came along.
After a moment the boys got tired of swimming and settled down at the shore to play together with Bobby’s toys, they dug a deep hole and build a large Castle, happy to have bumped heads and found each other.
After a long day at the beach, they each were carried out of the water and with promises of meeting again the next day they went home, to have a nap and then some lunch.
