Desperation
The world that you remembered so fondly has fallen apart right in front of your very own eyes,
you want to wear a blindfold to save yourself from the fall,
but the cloth vanishes into nothingness.
Blissful lies won't work anymore in this world and you're trapped into seeing everything with the eyes of a realist,
because the eyes are not meant to deceive like the words you say,
but you end up saying it anyways.
Desperation, as you might say, has made you into something else rather than staying true to yourself,
your comrades who once stood by your side have disbanded and gone their own ways,
leaving you alone within all of your own tainted thoughts.
But you continue with your lies of despair as parents warn their children to not be like you,
leaving you humiliated in the world
as no one takes you so seriously anymore,
and the precious orb of your future that was held in your own hands,
has fallen to the ground and shattered into many pieces,
far beyond the state of repair and it's hopeless to even try.
Several years have gone by and now everyone gathers at the uniting of the class so you show up to prove all their thoughts wrong,
but you've become more pitiful than before and they all have their laugh,
calling you the Worthless Hag Of the Reigning Era.
