This is a short poem about time and how little of it we seem to have. It is not particularly serious, just a little thing I wrote to relieve some stress and whatnot.
Too much to do, and so little time,
If only I had some time that was mine!
I give time to my sister, time to my friends,
Time to the schoolwork that never will end.
The time for this poem, indeed, is quite dear;
I should really be working, not writing this here.
But what can I do in this fight against time?
No penny, no nickel, no quarter, no dime
Can buy me the one thing I really need—time.
